What We Believe

Bible image

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross in our place to bring us complete forgiveness of sin and eternal life with God.

We believe that this gospel (good news) is at the heart of the Bible which is the sufficient, final and supreme authority in all matters to do with doctrine and life.

A summary of this Christian message can be found in Two ways to live

We are committed to the historic teaching of the Church of Ireland, which can be found in the Preamble to our Constitution and the thirty-nine Articles of Religion (pages 776-789 in the Book of Common Prayer). The Articles can be found  here 39 Articles (Modern English)

We are also committed to the GAFCON Jerusalem Statement and Declaration from 2008 Click here for PDF Vesion

(Global Anglican Future Conference www.gafcon.org).

What We Believe is reflected in our vision as a church family:

To Reach our friends and neighbours with the good news of Jesus Christ

To Build one another up in obedience to the Word of God

To Send out labourers equipped to lead God’s people in God’s mission
